Author Guidelines for Abstract Submission: International Participant Online Mode

To accommodate our global audience, the 2nd International Seminar on Innovative Approaches in Geographical Research (IAGR): Exploring New Dimensions for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is pleased to offer an Online Mode exclusively for international participants who are unable to attend in person.

While we strongly encourage international scholars, researchers, and professionals to join us in person to fully engage with the seminar's rich content and networking opportunities, we understand that travel may not be feasible for everyone. To ensure that our global colleagues can still actively participate, the online mode provides a comprehensive experience, including access to live-streamed sessions, interactive Q&A segments, and digital networking opportunities.

This option allows you to immerse yourself in the seminar's discussions, share your research, and collaborate with peers from around the world, all while contributing to the collective effort to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. By offering this online mode, we aim to facilitate meaningful global collaboration, ensuring that geographical research and innovation can be advanced regardless of geographic boundaries.

Registration Fee details

• $25 - UG and PG Student
• $35 - Research Scholar
• $50 - Faculty 

1. Submission Process:

• Abstracts must be submitted via the provided Google Form 
• The deadline for abstract submission is October 31, 2024.
• Notification of acceptance will be sent by November 05, 2024.

1. Abstract Format:

• Language: English
• Word Limit: Not exceeding 300 words
• Font: Times New Roman
• Font Size: 12
• Spacing: Double-spaced
• Title: Concise and descriptive
• Author Information: Include the author's name, affiliation, and email address below the title.
• Sub-theme: Mention the sub-theme under which the abstract falls.

1. Content Requirements:

• Introduction: Briefly introduce the topic and its significance.
• Objective: Clearly state the objective of the research.
• Methodology: Describe the methods and approaches used.
• Results: Summarize the key findings.
• Conclusion: Highlight the main conclusions and implications of the research.

1. Formatting and Submission:

• File Format: MS Word
• References: List only the works cited in the text. Follow APA 7th edition referencing style.
• Submission Link: Google Form 

1. Full Paper Submission:

• Accepted abstracts will require the submission of a full paper by November 25, 2024.
• Full papers should be sent to: seminar2024.rph@gmail.com

1. Presentation and Publication:

• The abstracts will be published in the seminar’s Abstract Volume.
• Selected papers, after a double-blind peer review, may be published in proceedings or as a Special Issue in a journal of international repute.

1. Best Paper Awards:

• Best Paper Awards will be given for each technical session, provided there are at least five presenters under the age of 45.
• Awards: Mukunda Bihari Saha Memorial Award (₹20,000) and Best Paper Presentation Awards (₹5,000 each session).
