Dr. Arijit Majumder: IAGR Conference 2024

Assistant Professor, Department of Geography, Jadavpur University 

Short Bio: Dr. Arijit Majumder is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Geography, Jadavpur University. He has completed his Ph.D from department of Geography, Burdwan University as a CSIR fellow on Groundwater Budgeting. He has served Women’s Christian College, Kolkata and Aliah University as an Assistant Professor before joining Jadavpur University. He has few publications in some international journals and has also published some book chapters. His thrust areas of research are groundwater dynamics in alluvium and water management.
