Dr. Sanat Kumar Guchhait : IAGR Conference 2024

Dr. Sanat Kumar Guchhait, Professor, Dept. of Geography, The University of Burdwan has been engaged in teaching and research at the University of Burdwan for the last 23 years. His area of Interest is Geographical Thought, Environmental Issues, Social and Cultural Geography. In the research domain, he intends to carry out research in Environmental Issues, Critical Theory, Livelihood of the marginal people, Social Exclusion, Geopolitics of Enclave, etc. Professor Guchhait has published 97 research papers in national and international journals, three books, and three edited volumes. He has successfully guided 16 Ph. D. thesis and 10 M. Phil dissertations.
